孫毓忠，男，博士，研究員。1991年在西安交通大學(xué)信息與控制工程系獲工學(xué)學(xué)士學(xué)位。1997年于中國(guó)科學(xué)院計(jì)算技術(shù)研究所獲得工學(xué)博士學(xué)位。1997年至1999年在香港大學(xué)從事博士后研究，2000年在美國(guó)新墨西哥大學(xué)從事博士后研究。2001年至2003年在美國(guó)硅谷的公司中從事video-on-demand和backup服務(wù)器的研發(fā)工作。2003年起為中國(guó)科學(xué)院計(jì)算技術(shù)研究所研究員。

孫毓忠在美國(guó)、香港從事博士后研究期間，活躍在集群與網(wǎng)格系統(tǒng)研究的國(guó)際前沿。首次提出了RecursiveCubeofRings互聯(lián)網(wǎng)絡(luò)體系結(jié)構(gòu)，由于它的優(yōu)良的拓?fù)涮匦?，適合作為MPP大型機(jī)的互聯(lián)網(wǎng)絡(luò)。首次提出了GeneralizedBlockShiftNetwork互聯(lián)網(wǎng)絡(luò)體系結(jié)構(gòu)，其獨(dú)特的拓?fù)涮匦允顾m合于機(jī)群和網(wǎng)格系統(tǒng)的可擴(kuò)展性的獨(dú)特要求。針對(duì)任意拓?fù)浣Y(jié)構(gòu)發(fā)展了高效的barrier同步算法，提出了如何建立同步樹(shù)和提供硬件支持的router體系結(jié)構(gòu)。以上研究成果均達(dá)到國(guó)際先進(jìn)水平。近來(lái)致力于發(fā)展面向綠色I(xiàn)nternet計(jì)算的可信軟件系統(tǒng)平臺(tái)技術(shù)，探索新形式的OS技術(shù)、計(jì)算模型與編程模型。
